Updates.
1. I am convinced of WIRED magazine’s substantiality after reading an article about deleting one’s own identity in the August (or was it September?) 2009 issue. Today I went out to buy three back issues.
2. Speaking of which, I bought 18 magazines in the past month. Notable titles include Tank, Antenna, Bon, cmagazine98, muse, COLORS, corduroy and BLIND SPOT.
2.5. Earlier today I watched a video on linefeed, about this month’s magazines review. One of them is Pigeons & Peacocks. This magazine is created by fashion students of a particular school in the UK, and it has no ads. Never in my wildest imagination I would get a copy of it when I was out to buy WIRED. It was priced at RM 5. However, the cover is damaged. Still, it was oddly surprising to find it here.
3. Derek Webb sounds intriguing.
4. I spent $ 80 at BUYOLYMPIA. To be precise, my purchases are worth $ 41.5; the shipping fee is $ 42. Isn’t that ridiculous? Luckily half of the things I wanted to get were out of stock. If not, I’d be spending three weeks’ worth of allowance.
And those are my latest magazine buys that are purposely stacked on the right side of my table. Dansk, VU MAG, Paper Planes, Bidoun, eye, Metal, Back Cover, Camouflage.
Those are some random magazines that just happened to be stacked on the right side of my table.
